Fall Fest 2000 & 2002

The Greene County Conservation District in conjunction with Columbia Greene Community College, The Greene County Cooperative Extension, and the Greene County Youth Bureau have sponsored a Fall Fest down at the River in the beginning of October every year. This year will be no different, and we are already planning the events

The event is held right at the Cohotate Preserve, with food and music throughout the day. There is plenty of parking, and the college provides us with transportation for those that would rather ride then walk down to the lower section where the events are held

In years past, the Fall Fest was made possible by the many donations from various County businesses, and agency's. During the Fall Fest, there were demonstrations throughout the day on wood carving, Eagles in the Hudson Valley, Hudson River ecology by Chris Letts, and Tom Lake, Birds of Prey by Rusty Johnson, and many others. The event was closed with a performance by the Arm of the Sea Theater.

We are starting to plan for the Fall Fest 2004, and as we get more details, please check back as we will be updating this page. We hope to see you there~
