The District is your local repository for many type of resource materials.
The following items can be obtained through our office.
USGS Topographical Maps
The District maintains a complete inventory of USGS 7.5 minute topographical maps for the county.
Maps are available for pickup at the office for $10.00 or can be mailed for $13.00
Wetlands Maps
To assist landowners the District maintains an inventory of NYSDEC protected wetlands maps. The maps are based on USGS topo quads and are available in blue-line format.

USDA Soil Survey
The published USDA Soil Survey for Greene County.
The Soil Survey is mapped on 1:24,000 scale and provides valuable information on soil types and characteristics.
Soil Surveys and map sheets are available at no cost if picked up at the office,
or can be mailed for $15.00.

Aerial Photography
The District can order on a pre-paid basis,
aerial photos from several flights.
Photos from 1959, 1968, 1980 and 1995-86 are available and
take 4-6 weeks to obtain
