Greene County Soil & Water Conservation District Stream Restoration Program Broadstreet Hollow Project

The Broadstreet Hollow Restoration Project was the first demonstration site in a broader, overall stream corridor planning effort led by Ulster County SWCD in partnership with NYCDEP Stream Management Program.  Greene County Soil & Water was the lead agency on the demonstration project, and we completed all the design, permitting and construction activities.

Started in 2000, the Broadstreet project includes a detailed watershed assessment, development of a comprehensive stream management plan and implementation of one or more demonstration projects.  Use the links in the directory to visit additional pages on the Broadstreet Hollow Project.
