Stream Restoration Program

West Kill Stream Corridor Project

Partnerships & Funding

To insure the success of the West Kill Stream Project, the GCSWCD will coordinate the involvement of a number of local, state and federal agencies as well as private citizens in the West Kill watershed. Any significant level of success will require all members of the project team to work together, pool their resources and get the job done. Some partners will be integrated into the project for specific purposes, while others will be involved in all steps in the process.

Likewise, there is no one quick solution to funding the necessary assessment., planning and implementation resources.  At this point, there are a number of local, state and federal funding sources which have been identified and the challenge is to develop funding proposals which maximize access to these funds
