The Greene County Soil & Water Conservation District provides technical assistance to landowners and towns to solve stream-related problems in a manner that improves water quality and supports the Schoharie Basin Stream Management Plans.

Utilizing data collection, monitoring, and analysis, the GCSWCD helps guide policy, projects, and programs in the Schoharie watershed related to stream, floodplain, and riparian corridor management.

SWAC members represent the collective interests of local government, property owners, watershed agencies, and non-profit organizations.
