Overview

Are you an existing business owner thinking of expanding or improving your operations?  Thinking of starting up a business or relocating one to Mountaintop area?  Need help formulating a business plan?  Not sure what assistance is available?  Then please explore these resources on available programs for businesses in the Watershed region of Greene County.  Assistance comes in many forms whether it is used for starting a new business venture or improvements to an existing business.

These resources were gathered at the Building the Watershed Economy Workshop held at Villa Vosilla on June 29, 2010.  This workshop highlighted programs through the Catskill Watershed Corporation’s Economic Development program, Catskill Fund for the Future, and Greene County’s Economic Development, Tourism & Planning Department and Industrial Development Agency (IDA) that are meant to stimulate economic initiatives through low interest loans, small grants for Main Street Revitalization, “shovel ready” sites, and start up financing for new businesses.

Mike Triolo, CWC Economic Development Director, speaks about Catskill Watershed Corporation funding opportunities

Sandy Mathes Jr, Executive Director of Greene County IDA, speaks about business resources in Greene County
