2006 Volunteer Planting Project,

Over 45 volunteers braved the frigid elements on Saturday, November 4, 2006 to participate in the Riparian Buffer Planting Project sponsored by NYCDEP and the GCSWCD.
Text Box: 2007 Planting Project Saturday November 3, 2007 Close to 90 volunteers joined in another successful planting program along a section of the Batavia Kill. The stream was restored using natural channel design principles and the volunteers helped plant over 2,000 saplings and shrubs on a brisk November Saturday.
