example of bare rootsExample of a bundle of 10 bare root plants. Each spring, the District offers an annual bare root tree and shrub sale for local landowners. We sell a variety of bare root evergreen and deciduous seedlings and transplants to be used for conservation planting. These plants are available at a low cost for conservation purposes, but also add to the aesthetics of your property. Trees and shrubs have been selected for our climatic conditions and are well-suited to be used for windbreaks, reforesting, preventing soil erosion, and creating wildlife habitats.
